List Serve Instructions
General Policy
In an effort to utilize the Internet as a means to promote interaction among our members, SRDUG has established the discussion groups SRDUG-L and TSRST-L for its institutional members. These listserves are open to member institutions and Datatel staff for the exchange of information between each other. These list should only be used for organizational information, and idea exchange. These list should not be used to broadcast jokes, stories, or other personal information.
Subscription to the list is "by-owner." This means subscribers must be added to the list by the list manager. Subscription is not automatic. Anyone can know that these lists exist, but only subscribers can participate in the discussion or read the postings. Please note, when you hit "reply" to a listserv message, the reply is sent to the entire listserve.
Automatic reply messages such as "vacation" and/or "out of the office" will result in the user being immediately removed from the list, so please update your auto message to not post to this or any other lists.
There are 2 lists available:
The SRDUG-L is for general discussions for members of the organization.
The TSRST-L list is for Texas State reporting issues.
